Creators retain full intellectual property rights over their uploaded and processed geospatial datasets while granting MosaicEarth the right to stream published assets on the public 3D globe and deliver licensed copies to Marketplace buyers under the MosaicEarth Standard License snapshot recorded at the time of acquisition.

Upfront Processing Authorization & 100% Failure Refund Guarantee

Cloud photogrammetry and 3D reconstruction tasks display their exact Euro (€) price or monthly plan quota deduction prior to user confirmation. Charges are authorized upfront before task execution. If a processing task fails or is cancelled prior to completion, MosaicEarth automatically refunds 100% of the upfront charge (0.00 € billed) or restores the corresponding monthly plan allowance.

Data Hosting, Processing Infrastructure & GDPR Sub-Processors (Art. 28 GDPR)

In compliance with European Union data protection regulations (GDPR), MosaicEarth processes and stores geospatial datasets using encrypted cloud infrastructure and authorized technical sub-processors:

  • Geospatial Object Storage & Content Delivery: Encrypted S3-compatible cloud object storage and edge CDN distribution for private workspace layers and public 3D tilesets.
  • Ephemeral Photogrammetry & 3D Compute Nodes: Isolated on-demand GPU/CPU compute instances running official OpenDroneMap (NodeODM) and 3D Gaussian Splatting pipelines solely for the duration of active tasks.
  • Payment Processing: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified) for direct Euro (€) subscriptions, pay-per-task processing, and Marketplace creator payouts.
